Cognizant Moment is the evolution of our digital experience practice area, designed to help clients utilize artificial intelligence (AI) to redefine customer experience and develop innovative strategies. We aim to power the next generation of data-led, AI-fueled experiences at an enterprise scale.
Experience Designers craft meaningful, human-centered digital experiences that improve lives. They design the interactions between people and technology, ensuring that the user always comes first. Through research, co‑creative workshops, and usability testing, they uncover pain points, unmet needs, and opportunities—transforming insights into concepts and solutions expressed through sitemaps, user journeys, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
As an Experience Designer I, new hires will collaborate with senior designers and cross‑functional teams to shape experiences for high‑profile, globally recognized brands. Associates will learn by doing—participating in discovery, design, and delivery activities that span new product innovation and long‑term evolution of existing products and services. This is an opportunity to grow your craft in a supportive environment while contributing to real‑world projects. Key Responsibilities • Learn and collaborate : Shadow senior designers during user research, workshops, and usability testing to understand best practices. • Support research & Discovery : Assist in synthesizing findings from interviews, field studies, and workshops into actionable insights. • Contribute to design artifacts : Help create sitemaps, user journeys, wireframes, and interaction flows under guidance. • Prototype & Iterate : Design interactive prototypes at varying levels of fidelity—ranging from blue‑sky conceptual designs that explore future possibilities to detailed, production‑ready prototypes that meet defined business and user requirements. • Participate in co‑creation : Offer ideas and feedback during collaborative sessions with designers, developers, and stakeholders. • Document & Organize : Assist in defining usability patterns, accessibility guidelines, and design system principles. • Engage in testing : Support usability testing and help analyze results to improve designs. • Collaborate with Engineering: Work closely with engineering teams to support design implementation and perform design QA on developed experiences to ensure fidelity to design specifications. • Grow your skills : Learn agile design and development processes while working in a fast‑paced, global environment.
