Our client is based in the Mittelland region and develops innovative technologies for future energy systems. For the electrical engineering development of the next generation of medium-voltage and DC switching technologies, an experienced individual with high technical competence and professional responsibility in the field of electrical development is sought.

Responsibilities

• Professional responsibility and project management for electrical engineering development in the R&D area
• Conception and development of medium-voltage systems and switchgear
• Development of hybrid DC main switches (DC breaker technologies)
• Development of control and protection systems
• Execution of simulations, tests, and prototype development
• Technical responsibility for R&D projects from the concept phase to product release
• Close collaboration with interdisciplinary development and system teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Power Electronics
• Sound experience in at least two of the following areas: Medium or High Voltage Technology, DC Switching Technology / DC Breakers, Power Electronics, Control and Regulation Technology
• Experience with simulation and development tools
• Structured, analytical working method with high personal technical responsibility
• Fluent in German and English
