This managerial role focuses on guiding environmental compliance across energy infrastructure projects. You’ll be responsible for translating environmental assessments into actionable controls, managing permits, and overseeing compliance strategies throughout project phases. Collaboration with engineering and construction teams is essential, as well as effective communication with regulators and clients.

Responsibilities

• Define permitting strategies and identify environmental risks
• Manage project-specific Environmental Management Systems
• Coordinate environmental permits with engineering and construction leads
• Oversee monitoring programs and inspections
• Handle environmental incident management and reporting

Requirements

• Background in environmental engineering or science
• Experience in EPC or large infrastructure projects
• Understanding of Ontario Regulation 406 / 19
• Proficient with digital environmental tools
• Professional designation such as P.Eng. or equivalent
