We are seeking an Epic Grand Central Analyst to support a Canadian healthcare organization through an active go-live and post go-live stabilization effort. This role will serve as a key technical resource ensuring successful adoption, workflow optimization, and system stability throughout the engagement.
Position Summary
The Epic Grand Central Analyst will be responsible for supporting all aspects of the Epic Grand Central environment during a critical go-live and post go-live period. This individual will work closely with registration, access, and operational teams to ensure workflows are functioning as designed, issues are resolved quickly, and the system is optimized for long-term success. The ideal candidate brings hands-on Epic Grand Central experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced go-live environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on Epic Grand Central support throughout go-live and post go-live stabilization phases.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Epic Grand Central issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with registration, patient access, and operational teams to validate workflow design and system performance.
- Support build, configuration, and optimization activities within the Epic Grand Central environment.
- Participate in go-live command center activities, issue tracking, and resolution workflows.
- Document issues, decisions, and resolutions in accordance with project standards.
- Partner with technical and clinical stakeholders to identify and address gaps in workflow design or system configuration.
- Support end-user adoption through at-the-elbow assistance, troubleshooting, and training reinforcement.
- Contribute to post go-live optimization efforts and long-term stabilization planning.
Qualifications
- Active Epic Grand Central certification required.
- 3+ years of Epic Grand Central analyst experience.
- Hands-on experience supporting Epic go-live or post go-live stabilization efforts.
- Strong understanding of patient access, registration, and scheduling workflows.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Epic configuration issues independently.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across technical and operational teams.
- Ability to travel once per month as required.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting go-lives in large or complex health system environments.
- Background working with international or Canadian healthcare organizations.
- Familiarity with Epic ADT, scheduling, and patient flow workflows.
- Experience with post go-live optimization and workflow redesign.
- Strong documentation and issue tracking skills.
