Job Responsibilities

  • Lab Equipment Support: Install, configure, and verify fundamental functions of lab devices such as testers, ovens, and chambers. Conduct basic electrical and mechanical inspections according to SOPs and aid engineers in validation and troubleshooting.
  • Maintenance & Operations: Carry out preventive maintenance and calibration. Manage AMC/PMC agreements with vendors. Perform regular inspections of power, reboots, and connectivity. Detect problems promptly and report them.
  • Daily Lab Operations: Load and unload DUTs and accessories, assist with tester setup including binaries, sessions, and basic configurations, maintain lab cleanliness and readiness, and track consumables, tools, and spares.
  • Documentation: Update maintenance logs and checklists, keep Jira and internal trackers current, document downtime and maintenance actions.
  • Safety & Compliance: Adhere to EHS, ESD, and lab safety standards, use PPE, support audits, and report incidents or near misses.
  • Server Hardware Management (Additional Focus):
    • Rack, stack, cable, and decommission servers; perform bring‑up including BIOS, firmware, and hardware configurations.
    • Troubleshoot issues related to CPU, memory, disks/RAID, NICs, PSUs, and motherboards; manage vendor RMAs.
    • Perform server preventive maintenance and health assessments, implement firmware updates, monitor hardware alerts, and manage spares and assets.
    • Ensure secure handling, storage, and disposal of drives with accurate hardware documentation and SOPs.

Key Knowledge Points

To succeed in this role, you must have proven knowledge in the following areas:

  • Advantest SSD tester, Nextest Teradyne, fully automatic wafer probers, servers (HP/DELL), storage servers.
  • Practical knowledge of IT/NW infrastructure hierarchy and diagnosis methods.
  • CAPA reporting and Jira ticketing.
  • Customer management.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Instrumentation, or related field)

Experience

  • 2–5 years of experience in engineering labs, equipment operations, manufacturing test, or related environments
  • Hands‑on exposure to lab equipment installation, maintenance, or operations
