Equipment Engineering Manager (d/m/f)

Overview

In this role, you lead the Equipment Engineering team to maximize tool uptime and performance to meet fab goals such as wafers out, on time, with cost and quality targets. You will align with the broader mission to push sensor technology boundaries and support cross-functional collaboration with suppliers and customers. You drive data-based decisions, KPIs, and continuous improvements to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing. This is a hands-on leadership role shaping maintenance strategy and project execution in a fast-paced environment.

• Apply Six Sigma problem-solving methods and continuous improvement to reduce cost of ownership and improve uptime/MTTR
• Possess and apply manufacturing process knowledge, with focus on stability and cost control

Requirements

• Degree in electrical, automation or mechatronics engineering (Bachelor or Master)
• 5+ years managing multiple maintenance or engineering teams
• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, equipment stability and cost control
• Strong understanding of lean principles and Six Sigma problem-solving
• Clear, structured communication with prioritization and coordination skills
• Continuous improvement mindset and high flexibility
• Ability to make rapid decisions in time-sensitive environments
• Proficiency in English; German is beneficial
