Calm under pressure and capable of managing issues that directly impact warehouse operations and order flow
Collaborative by nature, with the ability to bridge gaps between IT, finance, and operations
Motivated to bring structure, reliability, and long-term improvements to an environment that needs it
Location: Mississauga, ON (Fully On-site - 5 days a week in office)
Vacancy Type: This role is a newly created position
What You'll Do:
- Take ownership of the organization's Microsoft Dynamics GP ERP environment, ensuring stability, performance, and data integrity across all business-critical systems

- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues impacting uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency
- Troubleshoot complex issues across ERP and warehouse systems, including WMS functionality, RF devices, label printing, and failed EDI transactions
- Manage and optimize SQL Server environments, including query development, stored procedures, job management, and performance tuning
- Develop and maintain reporting solutions using SQL and reporting tools to support business intelligence and operational visibility
- Act as the primary point of contact for third‑party vendors, ensuring service levels are met and system issues are resolved efficiently
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, warehouse, and operations teams to translate business requirements into effective system solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve or modernize legacy processes, contributing to a more proactive and scalable systems environment
What We're Looking For:
- 5+ years of experience in ERP systems administration, application support, or a similar role within complex business environments
- Hands‑on experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics GP or comparable ERP systems, with a strong understanding of system integrations and business workflows
- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, including writing queries, building database objects, and troubleshooting performance issues
- Experience supporting warehouse management systems (WMS) such as HighJump or similar platforms within manufacturing or distribution environments
- Working knowledge of EDI processes, including diagnosing and resolving transaction failures
- Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and how applications interact across enterprise environments
- Experience working in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments, with an appreciation for the operational impact of system performance
- Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage both technical teams and non‑technical stakeholders
What Makes This Role Exciting:
- Take ownership of business‑critical systems at the core of a manufacturing operation
- Influence how ERP, WMS, and data systems support day‑to‑day operational performance
- Work cross‑functionally with key stakeholders across finance, warehouse, and operations
- Drive meaningful improvements in system reliability, efficiency, and scalability
