Project Manager (ERP Transformation)

Job Summary

The Project Manager (ERP Transformation) is responsible for coordinating and delivering ERP-related initiatives, acting as a bridge between business and IT teams. This role supports IT PMO processes, ensures project alignment with organizational goals, and drives execution across multiple workstreams using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Coordination

• Lead and coordinate multiple ERP transformation projects
• Monitor project schedules, milestones, and deliverables
• Track progress and provide status updates to Program Manager
• Identify risks/issues and implement mitigation strategies
• Ensure delivery within scope, timeline, and objectives

Stakeholder & Communication Management

• Act as a liaison between business and IT teams
• Maintain communication across project teams, stakeholders, and vendors
• Prepare reports, presentations, and project documentation
• Manage expectations and follow up on open issues and action items

PMO & Governance

• Support IT PMO processes, governance standards, and documentation
• Ensure compliance with project methodologies and organizational standards
• Contribute to project planning, execution, and reporting frameworks

Methodology & Execution

• Apply Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project management methodologies
• Facilitate stand-ups, planning sessions, and status meetings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SDLC and IT project management methodologies
• Proven experience in:
  • Stakeholder management
  • Risk mitigation & issue resolution
  • Vendor management
  • Communication and reporting
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills
• Ability to manage complex, cross-functional communication
• Proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365 tools

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing ERP/HCM systems such as: SAP, Workday, SuccessFactors
• Experience with procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Ivalua)
• Strong track record of successful project delivery

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field
• 5+ years of project management experience in a matrixed environment
• Experience in ERP/HCM implementations preferred
