Airbus Helicopters is looking for a R&T Certification/Qualification Engineer (f/m) to join our Design Office based in Marignane, France. You will join the Certification/Qualification Programmes in development (ETJF) department within the Airworthiness Department (ETJ). The R&T Section leads Certification activities to meet development and delivery milestones in line with AH R&T roadmap.
Responsibilities
- Identify Certification/Qualification regulations applicable, propose and discuss new/updated regulations with Aviation Authorities when not existing.
- Define demonstrators "Permit to Fly" strategy and substantiation needs.
- Manage schedule and priorities for certification activities.
- Allocate and coordinate R&T activities according to Chief Engineer expectations.
- Manage priorities internally and with Authorities.
- Manage R&T related activities ensuring harmonised processes are used.
- Follow up and report on R&T activities progress, fix hard points, and ensure on time completion.
- Contribute to identification, definition and/or adaptation of R&T related organisation or process evolutions.
- Follow up and contribute to regulation evolution in coordination with the Regulation & Policies Department.
- Identify and define applicable Certification/Qualification basis.
- Define Certification/Qualification logic and establish corresponding Plan.
- Establish Flight Conditions Approval files for demonstrators, prototypes and serial aircraft.
- Contribute to identification of ways to use DOA on new products in coordination with AH DOA team.

Your profile
- Educated to 5-year degree level in Engineering.
- 5 to 8 years of overall experience: either 5 years in airworthiness or 3 years in airworthiness plus 5 years as designer in aeronautical technical field.
- Good relationship and communication skills in an international context.
- Synthetic, meticulous/structured way of working, dynamic and proactive.
- Team spirit and result-oriented.
- French and English at negotiation level.
- Position requires security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.
