TECHEAD is seeking qualified applicants for a contract position as an ETL Healthcare Data Analyst in Richmond, VA. The role is a 6‑12 month contract with possible extension, hybrid work (2‑3 days onsite), and is open to local candidates only.

Responsibilities

  • Manage data conversion process, covering strategy, data mapping, transformation rules, and reconciliation.
  • Manage data validation processes and troubleshoot complicated data issues to guarantee accurate and complete converted Claims and Finance data.
  • Coordinate and manage practice (simulated) conversion runs, aligning technical and business teams to prepare for the actual system migration.
  • Conduct comprehensive data quality reviews, verifying that all converted data adheres to required business, auditing, and regulatory standards.
  • Create and document the necessary conversion crosswalks and standardized migration procedures for moving legacy data into the new system.
  • Collaborate with technical architects to enhance conversion efficiency, reduce system downtime, and facilitate a seamless cutover.
  • Ensure system design decisions comply with established architectural standards and meet operational readiness requirements through governance oversight.

Requirements

  • 10 years of experience in data analysis, focusing on large datasets and trend identification.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience utilizing large‑scale Claims Processing Software (MMIS or similar).
