Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed requirements analysis for new and existing software projects in the energy trading sector.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including traders, business managers, and IT teams, to gather and document business and functional requirements.
• Develop clear and concise business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, and use cases.
• Work closely with the software development team to translate requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations.
• Consult the development and implementation of testing strategies to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Facilitate communication and ensure alignment between business users and technical teams.
• Participate in project planning, review meetings, and provide regular progress updates.
• Consult the Product Owner in managing the backlog.

Requirements

• 10+ years of ETRM industry experience with good understanding and experience of projects in ETRM, Power/Gas Trading domain and European Markets
• 5+ years of working experience on Allegro is mandatory.
• Experience in customization\integration with Allegro
• Functional requirements gathering and documentation
• Designing Allegro based functional prototypes and functional modeling of business flows in Allegro
• Understanding of E2E data flow scenarios in Allegro and integration with external applications like Trayport, Exxeta etc.
• End to end functional knowledge of Trade Lifecycle, Trade Valuations, Market Data, PnL Reporting & Market Reports.
• Design elicitation with business users and closing functional design in Allegro.
• Documenting functional design, reference data mapping & high-level testing scenarios
• Design walkthrough to the technical team and validating coverage of technical design as per documented business requirements.
• Acting as an interface between technical and business-oriented stakeholders.
• Reference data design and setup in Allegro.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL.
• Creation of automated reference data setup scripts for Allegro
• Creating Functional test catalog and facilitating User Acceptance testing.
• Help with solution design and definition of solution architectures.
• Responsible for functional track of a project.
• Experience of implementing and configuring Allegro Horizon.
• Proficiency in using business analysis software and tools (e.g., Azure, JIRA, Confluence).
