Position Overview

As an Account Executive, you will leverage your expertise in meeting planning, including logistics, event production, and teambuilding, to drive sales within your designated territory or accounts. You will lead a dynamic sales team, including an Account Manager and a Program Design Associate, to craft proposals and successfully execute memorable programs.

Responsibilities

Sales Responsibilities

  • Drive sales in your designated territory.
  • Manage all aspects of accounts, from proposal to final billing.
  • Supervise the Account Manager and Program Design Associate’s performance.
  • Achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships.
  • Create new opportunities through proactive sales efforts.
  • Engage with clients to assess their needs.
  • Collaborate with vendors and Program Design Associates to generate proposals.
  • Communicate proposal reviews and revisions to clients.
  • Conduct site visits with clients.
  • Finalized approved services through client contracts.
  • Participate in Pre and Post Conference meetings with clients.
  • Ensure daily communication with clients during program execution via in-person check-ins or through the Account Manager.
  • Respond to all customer inquiries within 24 hours.

Account Management Responsibilities

  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with clients and hotel partners.
  • Monitor and manage competitive influences on key accounts.
  • Oversee deposits and accounts receivables.
  • Build rapport to sustain long-term relationships.
  • Engage management to increase visibility and influence.
  • Identify and develop new opportunities.

This position operates in an office environment at our San Diego location, requiring the ability to stay stationary, move throughout the workplace, and use standard office equipment.

Compensation

The salary for this position ranges from $68,000 to $70,000 annually.
