Our media client is looking for an Events Specialist to work a 6-month role in NYC (40 hrs/week).

The advertising division representing a portfolio of leading audio entertainment brands and platforms is seeking a highly organized and creative Senior Specialist, B2B Events & Experiential Marketing, to support the planning and execution of high-impact B2B marketing activations.

Embedded within the B2B Marketing team, this role plays a critical part in elevating the organization's presence among brand marketers, agencies, and advertising decision-makers. You'll partner closely with Sales + Franchise Events + Sponsorships teams to bring client-facing events, hospitality moments, and bespoke experiences to life-helping strengthen relationships, drive engagement, and translate the brand into memorable, premium experiences that support business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and execution of custom B2B customer events, including Audio Days, client immersion meetings, customer hospitality programs, and other owned & operated customer events.
  • Partner closely with the Sales team to tailor experiences aligned with business goals, priority accounts, and key advertiser relationships.
  • Help identify event opportunities that support client engagement, pipeline development, and account growth.
  • Coordinate logistics, vendor management, and production to ensure seamless execution across customer experiences.
  • Support event communications, including pre-event planning, on-site execution, and post-event follow-up and reporting.
  • Ensure all events and experiences reflect the brand identity and premium standards.
  • Collaborate with design, comms, and sales partners to develop on-brand assets such as invitations, signage, swag, and presentation materials.
  • Bring fresh ideas to the table-helping shape thoughtful, unexpected moments that leave lasting impressions.
  • Assist with event recaps, budget tracking, and performance measurement to help evaluate ROI and improve future programs.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential, partnerships, or client engagement roles-ideally within media, advertising, or entertainment.
  • Strong project management skills with a sharp eye for detail and a creative, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Highly organized and resourceful, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally, contributing ideas, and owning execution from planning through post-event wrap-up.
  • Familiarity with the advertising and media landscape, and a passion for creating best-in-class brand and client experiences.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for event execution (approximately 15-20%).
