Execution Systems Developer – Java

A global institutional investment firm with over 500 employees worldwide is seeking an Execution Systems Developer to join their Technology team. This team is responsible for building millisecond-aware systems that support large transactions with minimal latency.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers with designing high-performance trading system components in a distributed architecture
• Conduct design and code reviews
• Analyze and improve the efficiency, scalability, and stability of systems
• Interact with stakeholders, including traders, portfolio managers, and risk teams

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building financial/trading systems in Java
• Extensive experience with multi-threaded/concurrency programming with lock-free algorithms
• Experience with distributed systems design and development
• Comfortable using other programming languages, preferably C# / C++ / React
• Experience programming using low-latency techniques

Compensation

Salary: $160,000 – $210,000, Plus Bonus
