Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Pune City for an Account Executive or Taxation Assistant. The role involves maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting in tax return preparations and filings, preparing audit documentation, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The role also requires liaising with clients, providing financial insights, and supporting senior team members in delivering accounting and taxation services effectively.

Qualifications

- Strong accounting skills, including experience in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and financial documentation - A solid understanding and experience with Indian taxation laws, including GST, TDS, and income tax returns - Proficiency in using accounting software such as Tally, MS Excel, and other financial tools - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills - Effective written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team and handle multiple tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines - Relevant certifications such as an accounting diploma or degree and prior experience in a Chartered Accountant firm are a plus - Knowledge of auditing processes or experience in a similar field will be an advantage
