Join Resort Village of Candle Lake as a Project Manager and later as Executive Assistant. Drive the Volunteers Supporting Aging in Place program and ensure effective governance and operational support.
Start with a one-year assignment as Project Manager, where you will develop a comprehensive volunteer system aimed at aiding vulnerable community members. Your role will involve recruiting and training volunteers while ensuring compliance and quality assurance in all processes. Following the project term, your position will evolve into an Executive Assistant and Office Manager role, enabling you to provide essential support to municipal governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop policies and procedures for volunteer initiatives
- Oversee volunteer management using Better Impact
- Ensure accountability through quality assurance processes
- Manage Council meeting agendas and documentation
- Support daily administrative operations
Requirements
- Proven project management experience
- Experience in policy development (asset)
- Volunteer management experience is a plus
- Strong organizational skills
- Relevant diploma or degree considered an asset
