JMC HR Consulting is pleased to support a confidential search for a Executive Finance Leader based in Western New Brunswick.
Our client is a well-established organization located in Western New Brunswick near a city center. This opportunity offers the chance to join a fast-paced and growing company where financial leadership plays a critical role in guiding strategic decision-making, supporting operational performance, and ensuring strong governance across the organization.
This role requires a seasoned finance professional who brings both strong accounting expertise and executive leadership capability. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership and operational teams to ensure financial clarity, accountability, and long-term business success. While primarily based on-site, there may be occasional flexibility for remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the organization’s financial operations, including financial reporting, accounting, treasury, and financial planning.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting while maintaining strong internal controls and governance processes.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support organizational decision-making and long-term planning.
- Support balance sheet management, capital planning, and treasury oversight to ensure financial stability and effective capital structure.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Provide financial insight and strategic guidance to senior leadership to support operational performance and business growth.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including operational and manufacturing teams, to ensure alignment between financial strategy and day-to-day business operations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiencies across the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Post-secondary degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience in a complex business environment.
- Demonstrated experience leading financial operations at a senior leadership level.
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, treasury management, and risk management.
- Highly developed business acumen with the ability to translate financial insight into strategic business decisions.
- Experience working closely with operational leadership teams; exposure to manufacturing environments is considered an asset.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- A strategic thinker who is also comfortable remaining close to day-to-day operations when needed.
