The Financial Solutions division, part of Jebsen & Jessen Industrial Solutions GmbH, offers worldwide financial services for machinery and goods deliveries. Regardless of brand or technology, we structure innovative financial solutions for international projects, based on the instruments of Export Credit Agencies (ECAs) and/or private credit insurance. In addition to the consulting and structuring of ECA-covered financing provided by us, we act as a general exporter and a trading house between suppliers and customers.

In our Project Execution department, we are responsible for the commercial processing of international foreign trade projects and coordinate cooperation with global partners. Furthermore, we drive the continuous optimization of our processes and independently manage export financing and payment security.

As the current Head of Department will be leaving our company in the summer of 2027, we are seeking a suitable successor early on. After an intensive onboarding phase, you will take over the leadership of the department, currently consisting of 5 employees, from mid-next year. Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the commercial and documentary processing of international foreign trade projects
• Prospective assumption of leadership and further development of the Project Execution team
• Management and continuous development of project management in order processing
• Coordination and communication with customers, suppliers, banks, ECAs, and other international stakeholders
• Analysis and optimization of processes, workflows, and digital tools used
• Independent processing of export financing, letters of credit, bank submissions, forfaiting, and other payment security instruments

Qualifications

• Completed degree (Business Administration, Foreign Trade, or similar) or successfully completed commercial apprenticeship with a focus on foreign trade or finance (document examination) or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience in order processing
• Several years of experience in international project execution in foreign trade
• Very good knowledge of international trade processes (Incoterms, Export/Import, payment and delivery terms)
• Sound leadership experience with the ability to develop teams effectively
• Structured, solution-oriented approach, combined with high flexibility and strong commitment
• Clear service orientation as well as strong communication and teamwork skills, complemented by creative thinking
• Confident demeanor with convincing negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Fluent German and English skills; further foreign languages (preferably Spanish or French) are an advantage
