About the role

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Executive Hiring Recruiter with deep experience in the automotive manufacturing sector. This role will lead end-to-end recruitment for senior leadership positions, partnering closely with plant leadership and corporate stakeholders to attract and hire top executive talent across manufacturing, operations, engineering, and support functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and drive end-to-end executive hiring for leadership roles (Director, VP, Plant Leadership) within the motor vehicle manufacturing environment
  • Partner with plant heads and senior leadership to understand hiring needs aligned with business and production goals
  • Conduct market mapping and proactive headhunting across OEMs and Tier 1/2 automotive suppliers
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of passive leadership talent in manufacturing, operations, engineering, quality, and supply chain
  • Lead candidate screening, structured assessments, interview coordination, and offer negotiations
  • Ensure a high-quality, professional candidate experience, particularly for senior-level hires
  • Provide market intelligence, competitor insights, and compensation benchmarking
  • Collaborate with external search firms when required and manage vendor relationships
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all executive hiring processes

Key Requirements

  • 10+ years of recruiting experience with a strong focus on automotive / motor vehicle manufacturing hiring
  • Proven track record in executive search / leadership hiring (Director level and above)
  • Strong understanding of plant operations, manufacturing processes, and automotive value chain
  • Hands-on experience in sourcing, headhunting, and closing senior candidates
  • Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders and plant leadership
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working in in-house talent acquisition or executive search firms
  • High level of ownership, urgency, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience hiring for EV or advanced manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to multi-location or high-volume plant hiring
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, or related field
