Overview

Ascendo Resources is seeking a driven, high-performing Executive Recruiter to join our Professional Services (Temp/Contract) division in NYC. This role is ideal for a true producer—someone who thrives on closing deals, building long-term client relationships, and taking ownership of a growing book of business. If you have an entrepreneurial mindset and want autonomy with uncapped earnings, this is your seat.

What You’ll Do

  • Own your market: Prospect, pitch, and close new client business across multiple industries
  • Full-desk execution: Manage the entire recruiting lifecycle for temporary, contract, and executive search roles
  • Client advisory: Act as a trusted partner delivering strategic staffing solutions
  • Talent delivery: Source, interview, and place top talent across Accounting, Finance, Legal, HR, Administrative, Operations, and related functions

What We’re Looking For

  • 2+ years of full-desk staffing experience with proven placements and revenue results
  • Strong hunter mentality with a track record of business development and deal closure
  • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and candidate management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Grit, accountability, and a results‑driven mindset required
