We are on the hunt for a dynamic Product Support Manager to manage and develop our client’s Product Support Activities in a specific region of this African country. The incumbent will focus on the management of the on-site contracts and development of opportunity for parts and service in the region. Additionally, the incumbent will ensure the productive and profitable operation of the branch and that sales targets are met in all areas.
Responsibilities
- The day-to-day Product Support business - Service Operations, Product Support Sales, Parts Operation and Sales Support departments operate with cohesion and harmony between each department.
- All product support operations are carried out to group and local standards and that all staff are fully utilised.
- Manage departmental relationships with other MV sales and support General Management.
- Reporting directly to the Territory Manager on all issues which are not specifically parts and or service related and to Reporting to the relevant product support department heads on all operational issues relating to their departments.
Requirements
- Engineering Degree/Diploma or qualified Artisan
- Business certification will be advantageous
- Must have Heavy Earthmoving Equipment Service Experience + excellent commercial acumen + solid client facing experience + exposure to sales will be advantageous
- Must currently or recently have been in a similar role
