This position entails managing the financial close processes related to insurance accounting while communicating insightful information to leadership monthly. Collaborate with peers, conduct research, and support audit requirements, ensuring the organization adheres to all IFRS regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare IFRS 17 financial disclosures quarterly and annually
• Validate insurance accounting results each month
• Study and report on IFRS regulations and best practices
• Help with internal and external audits and control processes
• Lead climate reporting initiatives and processes

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience
• CPA designation or equivalent required
• Detailed knowledge of IFRS 17 standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication
