Experienced Accountant (UK Experience)

An established and growing accountancy practice is seeking an ACCA-qualified (or

equivalent) accountant to join its expanding team. The firm supports a diverse client base,

The Role

You will manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses, delivering core

compliance services while leveraging financial data to provide proactive, value-adding

advice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Preparation of statutory financial statements • Corporation tax computations and tax returns • Using compliance data to inform advisory and business development work • Building strong client relationships and supporting business growth • Contributing to discussions around sustainability, ESG, and Net Zero initiatives • Using AI tools responsibly to enhance efficiency and insight

About You

• ACCA qualified (or equivalent) • Practice experience with strong accounts preparation skills • Solid understanding of corporation tax • Experience with IRIS software is advantageous but not essential • Confident working directly with clients and contributing to advisory services
