Tasks

• Membership in the Payment & Basket Platform Team responsible for the development, maintenance, and operation of highly available backend systems hosted on GCP
• Significant influence on solution architecture in accordance with enterprise architecture principles and coding standards
• Assurance of efficient product backlog delivery
• Contribution to backlog management with emphasis on technical debt and product quality
• Improvement and automation of existing processes and solutions through Infrastructure as Code
• Advocacy for technology best practices and assurance of their adherence by product teams
• Provision of support to product teams in cloud services, web security, and continuous integration pipelines
• Active participation in the technical community for Cloud competency

Your Profile

• Strong interest in secure, highly scalable, multi-region hosted backend systems
• Fundamental knowledge of system architectures, network protocols, and operating systems (desirable)
• Profound expertise in configuration and maintenance of cloud platform services (e.g., GCP, Azure, AWS) using Infrastructure as Code
• Familiarity with common DevOps technologies (Kubernetes, Terraform, GitHub, Nginx, GitOps, etc.)
• Skills in application firewall configuration, including rate limitations and bot detection rules (advantageous)
• Good knowledge of programming languages (especially Node.js) and document-based databases
• Experience in cross-functional teams within agile enterprise environments (advantageous)
• Fluency in English (German language skills are a plus)
