We are now in the process of searching for a bright, creative, adaptable, passionate, quality-driven and experienced Shopify Developer to join our team.

About You

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of all things WordPress, Shopify, & Wix Development with at least 5 years of experience and be looking for an opportunity to develop within an ambitious fast-paced organisation. This is a remote and full-time role, therefore, you’ll need to be self-motivated, highly organised, and relish working in a busy, fast-paced online environment.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and competent WordPress, Shopify & Wix Developer to join our client's growing technical team. You’ll play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimising custom WordPress and WooCommerce websites that are high-performing, secure, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build custom WordPress, Shopify & Wix themes using PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Develop and maintain plugins and extend WordPress, Shopify & Wix functionality.
• Implement payment gateways, shipping logic, and responsive design with pixel-perfect accuracy.
• Use Elementor and other builders effectively while maintaining clean, manageable code.
• Customise both Classic and Gutenberg editors, and streamline admin interfaces for ease of use.
• Optimise site speed (LCP, FCP, CLS), ensure mobile responsiveness, and follow on-page SEO best practices.
• Work closely with designers and project managers from early planning to final deployment.
• Follow QA protocols: functional testing, layout checks across devices/browsers, and backend usability.
• Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support and structured feedback handling.
• Apply security best practices and manage staging-to-live deployment processes.

Server & Technical Support:

• Manage Linux-based hosting environments (cPanel, VPS, or cloud – AWS, DigitalOcean, etc.).
• Handle SSL certificates, DNS configuration, server optimisation, and backups.
• Troubleshoot issues related to PHP, MySQL, caching, and performance.

Skills & Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in WordPress, Shopify & Wix development.
• Strong command of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Familiarity with MySQL, Git workflows, and deployment processes.
• Excellent attention to both visual detail and clean, well-documented code.
• Solid understanding of SEO, responsive design, browser compatibility, and site security.
• Experience working with Elementor and custom WordPress, Shopify & Wix admin interfaces.

Soft Skills:

• Clear and professional written and verbal English language communication.
• Strong collaboration mindset — comfortable working with designers, PMs, and clients.

• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities while meeting deadlines.
