Our Influencer Marketing Team

Our Influencer Marketing team is a key player in the Disney Streaming ecosystem, responsible for guiding influencer marketing campaigns from development through execution. As an essential addition to our team, the Experienced Manager, Influencer Strategy will help shape the strategic vision on how the Walt Disney Company engages and works with influencers across our various brands. Reporting to the Director, Influencer Marketing & Strategy, this role will be responsible for providing strategic guidance, developing influencer concepts, drafting creative briefs, and setting trackable campaign goals for all first- and third-party influencer campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Manager, Influencer Strategy, you will be responsible for:

  • Guiding the strategic vision of each influencer campaign to ensure alignment with business objectives and brand values
  • Developing and drafting influencer creative concepts for all first- and third-party campaigns, leveraging your expertise in the influencer marketing space
  • Collaborating with the Campaign Execution team to develop strategic briefs for brand campaigns, ensuring seamless execution and delivery
  • Managing cross-functional team planning to develop and execute campaigns, driving results and ROI
  • Developing and managing content calendars for influencer activation across our major brands, ensuring consistency and impact
  • Staying up-to-date on Disney brand safety guidelines and adapting our campaign processes to increase awareness and engagement around all influencer activations

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience in an influencer marketing role and/or similar function leading high-priority Brand projects with multiple key stakeholders
  • A deep understanding of the influencer marketing space, including its trends, challenges, and opportunities
  • A background in media and brands, as well as experience shepherding large-scale, cross-channel influencer marketing campaigns
  • Experience working with highly matrixed marketing organizations, with a proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder relationships
  • High degree of competency around influencer marketing strategy, campaign planning, and management
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to juggle scope and resources to meet deadlines consistently
  • Experience in digital media, talent/artist relations, public relations, and/or marketing, with a focus on short-form video platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat
  • Familiarity with back-end publishing and platform analytics tools (i.e. FB insights, YouTube Analytics)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage direct reports, with a focus on leadership development and team growth

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset:

  • Experience working with short-form video platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and Snapchat
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing platforms and tools, such as AspireIQ, HYPR, or Upfluence
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting, including the ability to track and measure campaign performance
  • A proven track record of developing and executing successful influencer marketing campaigns, with a focus on ROI and business impact
