We are currently seeking an Experienced Project Engineer to support a variety of projects at the Naval Reactors Facility (NRF) located on the Idaho National Laboratory (INL). In this role, you will collaborate with a diverse project team, including Project Managers, Analysts, Technical Representatives, and Operations personnel, on projects ranging from MIE to Refueling and beyond.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive project management support for both new and existing initiatives.
  • Develop and manage project plans that include cost estimates, quality plans, communication strategies, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, ensuring clear communication across all team members.
  • Conduct field support and inspections, as well as oversee commissioning, closeout, and turnover activities for various projects.
  • Create and manage project schedules, integrating plans across different lines of business to meet program objectives.
  • Review deliverables such as design drawings and technical documents, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Evaluate project performance and resource needs, aiding in the preparation of management and stakeholder reviews.
  • Lead special projects as assigned, guiding project teams to achieve their goals.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering, technical, or science field with 9+ years of experience; or a Master’s degree with 7+ years; or a Doctorate with 3+ years; or current role as a Principal Reactor Training Engineer, Refueling Engineer, or Field Engineer.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience in project management, production operations, or construction projects.
  • Proficiency with Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and Access.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar credentials.

The salary range for this position is $105,200.00 - $164,400.00 annually, reflecting the candidate's experience and qualifications.
