Summary
This position provides strategic direction and thought leadership for enterprise-wide data warehousing and infrastructure. They architect large-scale solutions, set long-term governance frameworks, and ensure data assets are leveraged for transformation and competitive advantage. This role drives innovation by adopting emerging technologies and guiding cross-functional teams through complex integrations. Experts influence executive decisions by translating infrastructure capabilities into business growth opportunities.
Job Duties
- Define enterprise-level data architecture and infrastructure strategy.
- Lead design of advanced data warehouses, data lakes, and hybrid architectures.
- Drive adoption of best practices in automation, DevOps, and CI/CD for data systems.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies (AI/ML integration, advanced analytics).
- Partner with executives and stakeholders to align data infrastructure with business strategy.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor across the organization.
- Guide cloud resource planning, cost optimization, and capacity management.
- Troubleshoot higher-level cloud issues and coordinate with vendors or internal teams.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Security, and Product teams on cloud roadmaps.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Business, Computer Science, Finance, Information Systems or related field.
- 7 years experience in data engineering and infrastructure with a demonstrated ability to influence organizational strategy and lead innovation.
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, ETL packages, strategic design of extractions, and data integration process.
- Expert knowledge of business intelligence applications and modeling concepts.
- Expertise with cloud-based data tools (Azure Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse, or similar).
- Strong understanding of Azure resource management, security controls, and cloud governance.
- Deep expertise in multiple data warehousing platforms and cloud ecosystems.
- Experience with advanced data governance, compliance, and security frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of interoperability standards and enterprise integration.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Physical Demands
Lift and carry 25 lbs. frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use, *patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
