Expert IT Security

Your role in the team

• Responsibility for the expansion, monitoring, and further development of the IT security environment.
• Expansion, monitoring, and continuous development of the company-wide IT security environment.
• Close coordination with the externally operated Security Operations Center (SOC) for early detection and handling of security incidents.
• Independent development of security training concepts and conducting practical security training sessions for employees.
• Processing and analysis of security incidents as well as initiation and documentation of countermeasures.
• Management and control of external service providers regarding security-related topics and projects.
• Active participation in shaping security policies and processes within the company.
• Programming of app interfaces for the applications used within the company.

Qualifications

• Very good knowledge of current IT security standards, frameworks, and common attack methods.
• Good programming skills in the currently popular programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#, JavaScript, etc.).
• Didactic skills as well as enjoyment in the conception and implementation of training sessions.
• Analytical thinking, initiative, and a solution-oriented work approach.
• Teamwork, strong communication skills, and a high sense of responsibility.

Experience

• Practical experience in the field of IT Security, ideally in a corporate environment.
• Experience in dealing with and collaborating with external Security Operations Centers (SOCs).

Education

• Completed degree in Computer Science, IT Security, or a comparable qualification.
