Senior IT Security Engineer

Are you passionate about IT security and ready to take on exciting challenges in a dynamic environment? We are seeking a skilled and versatile Senior IT Security Engineer to join our Security Engineering team in Zurich. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring our platforms meet the highest security standards while driving the successful implementation of innovative IT security projects.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, procure, install, and configure new IT security solutions, as well as optimize the existing IT security infrastructure.
• Act as an IAM expert by securing our access infrastructure, optimizing authentication flows, and ensuring seamless integration of various business applications.
• Lead IT security infrastructure projects.
• Take application ownership for IT security platforms, including operations, monitoring, 3rd-level support, and on-call duty.
• Further develop IT security architecture and create corresponding concepts and standards.
• Advise and support system and application owners, as well as internal or external project managers, on IT security topics.

Qualifications

• Extensive technical expertise in the Ping Identity platform (formerly ForgeRock) is essential.
• Degree from a higher education institution (e.g. university, technical university, or university of applied sciences) in computer science or an equivalent qualification with a focus on IT.
• Additional training or certifications in IT security (e.g. CAS IS/MAS IS, CISSP, CISA).
• Demonstrated experience as a software developer specializing in IT security.
• Broad IT security expertise and hands-on experience in implementing multiple projects.
• Strong general IT application and infrastructure knowledge, as well as project management experience, preferably in the financial sector.
• Excellent conceptual, analytical, and communication skills.
• Fluency in both German and English.
