Job Context and Purpose
The Global Cyber Security Project Manager is a key member of our Global PMO resource pool, assigned to high‑priority global initiatives. In this specialized role, you will lead complex Cyber Security projects aimed at hardening our global posture and protecting our digital assets.
You will act as the bridge between technical security teams and other IT and business stakeholders, ensuring that cyber security projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to operations. You report directly to the Leader of the Global Portfolio Management Office and maintain a close partnership and day to day collaboration with the Global CISO, your business owner.
Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership & Delivery Methodology
- End‑to‑End Governance: Own the project lifecycle from initiation to closure. This includes crafting project charters, defining KPIs, and working with stakeholders to build robust business cases for project investments.
- Methodology Expertise: Apply the right delivery framework (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid) based on the project’s needs.
- Strategic Alignment: Ensure all security workstreams align with the broader corporate strategy and the CISO’s long‑term roadmap.
- Resource Management: Lead cross‑functional teams of a.o. security engineers, analysts, and vendors, helping them overcome (technical) bottlenecks and stay focused on delivery.
2. Cybersecurity Execution & Monitoring
- Posture Improvement: Drive projects focused on key domains such as Identity & Access Management (IAM), and Data Security.
- Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify risks and dependencies. You don't just log issues; you work with team members and stakeholders to initiate corrective actions.
- Global Coordination: Manage project rollouts across diverse geographical regions and functional areas, accounting for local regulations and time zones.
3. Stakeholder Communication & PMO Excellence
- Executive communication: research, interpret and process complex information and turn it into easy to understand and meaningful presentations and storylines. Provide actionable insights for your stakeholders.
- Knowledge Management: Develop strategies to capture and share knowledge across your projects and the organization to prevent "siloed" information.
- PMO Support: Act as a subject matter expert within and on behalf of the PMO, facilitating training sessions within Cyber Security, and help improve project management templates and standard practices.
- Onboarding: Lead the transition and onboarding of new project team members to ensure continuity and minimize knowledge loss during long‑term projects.

Your Background
Experience
- at least 5 years of experience for being accountable for the budget, performance and results of a medium‑sized team or multiple small teams of employees
- proven successful in leading teams or projects
- proven experiences in addressing issues with impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines
- experience in integrating internal and external developments to solve complex problems.
- experience as a trusted advisor and in training and developing other re. developments in own discipline or function.
- demonstrated experience in and strong interest for data privacy and information security.
- college or university degree or the equivalent work experience.
