Your Role

In this position as Expert Software Developer, you will be a technical sparring partner for the Head of and work closely together on strategic decisions. Your main tasks include the design and implementation of scalable, highly available data architectures as well as the continuous evaluation of new technologies and software architectures. You will define and establish software architecture, data, and quality standards and analyze data processing regarding throughput, latency, and resource efficiency. Furthermore, you will actively support the implementation of robust data pipelines and provide technical and functional support to the cloud development teams. The team consists of highly qualified and motivated professionals who want to drive the future of renewable energies together. Requirements

The ideal candidate brings more than 10 years of experience in software development, ideally with modern and classic tech stacks such as Kotlin, PostgreSQL, as well as PHP and MySQL. You have profound experience in the design of scalable software and data architectures and in building Proof of Concepts. You are familiar with container and cloud environments such as Docker and Kubernetes. You also have experience with the processing of large amounts of data and real-time data streams, for example with MQTT or time-series databases. Practice in CI/CD and automation as well as high quality standards in software development are also required. A high degree of personal responsibility and the ability to act as a technical sparring partner for development teams are important. An analytical mindset and the ability to examine technological trends for their relevance to data management complete your profile.
