We are currently recruiting for a driven and commercially astute Sales Executive to join a well-established player in the power solutions and backup energy space.
This role is ideally suited to a true hunter — someone who thrives on opening doors, engaging at a senior level, and converting opportunities into long-term client relationships.
The Role
You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities across a variety of industries where power continuity is critical. Typical industries include Hospitals, Mines and Corporates.
Once a client is secured, you will retain ownership of the relationship — managing and growing the account over time.
The environment offers a mix of:
- High-value, once-off project deals
- Ongoing smaller transactional business
This creates a balanced role where strong upfront sales ability is key, supported by the ability to build lasting partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Engage with decision-makers at C-suite and senior management level
- Conduct client meetings, needs analysis, and solution presentations
- Close deals and onboard new clients
- Manage and grow your client base post-sale
- Maintain a strong pipeline and consistently meet sales targets
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in external B2B sales
- Strong new business development experience (non-negotiable)
- Comfortable engaging at executive level (C-level)
- Ability to manage both once-off deals and ongoing client relationships
- Commercially savvy with strong closing ability
- Self-managed, proactive, and target-driven
Experience in technical, energy, electrical, or infrastructure-related sales will be advantageous (Battery storage technology and uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems).
Exposure to cross-border / Africa markets is beneficial but not essential
Working Environment
- Office-based when not out meeting clients
- Johannesburg-based role (Linbro Park)

Remuneration
Cost to Company salary in the range of R25 – 32K based on experience.
Travel reimburse at SARS rates and a log book must be kept.
Any country trip expenses will be covered by the company.
Good, lucrative commission structure which kicks in once 50% of target is achieved and maintained. Big figure commission can be achieved in this role.
