Fabrication Manager

About the Role

Lead dynamic operations as the Fabrication Manager at Aecon in Brantford, Ontario. Drive production efficiency and oversee strategic planning while maintaining a commitment to safety and quality.

In your role as Fabrication Manager, you will report directly to the Fabrication General Manager, focusing on both the short- and long-term objectives of the production facility. Your key responsibilities will include managing staff development, tackling project site issues, and ensuring production KPIs are met while positively engaging with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement business plans for operations and production
• Source and align additional fabrication capacity as needed
• Manage and guide direct reports to achieve goals
• Oversee project costing and divisional results effectively
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Experience in production management and oversight of trade personnel
• Understanding of nuclear export controls requirements
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors effectively
• Skills in preparing development and succession plans
