Hiring: Fabrication Operations Controller (Metal Shop)

We are building a high-performance metal fabrication operation and need ONE elite operator to run jobs from drawing → production → installation.

This is not a desk job. This is a technical leadership role.

What You Will Own:

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings (gates, railings, structures)
• Break jobs into material lists + fabrication steps
• Estimate full job cost (material + labor + overhead)
• Set selling price with profit margin
• Decide manpower (welders, fabricators, installers)
• Manage shop workflow and production
• Control quality before delivery

Requirements (non-negotiable):

• 7+ years in metal fabrication
• Experience as welder/fabricator + foreman/supervisor
• Proven job estimation experience
• Strong understanding of real shop workflow

Do NOT apply if:

• You cannot estimate jobs from drawings
• You have only office/project management experience
• You have never managed a fabrication team
