Facilities Engineer

Operational Hours/Shift Rotation

• The schedule involves a rotation of shifts that will start at 5:00 AM and conclude at 5:30 PM
• The first week of the schedule requires being present at work from Monday to Tuesday, followed by Thursday to Sunday, with a break on Wednesday
• The middle of the second week consists of Tuesday and Wednesday, with Monday being a break day and Thursday through Sunday rounding out the rest of the week
• Employees are typically expected to work for 96 hours every other week.

Compensation

• This position pays up to $32.00 per hour, depending on the candidate's level of expertise.
• There may be additional local incentives, like referral bonuses and increased pay for an extra week on the job.

General Purpose

The person in this post oversees a team, troubleshoots production line issues, and provides prompt preventive and corrective Facilities Engineer, as well as assisting in change‑over procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Attend to equipment breakdowns promptly by conducting problem diagnosis and undertaking necessary repairs.
• Refurbish and implement advanced devices.
• Rebuilding and manufacturing parts is an intricate process that requires a high level of expertise.
• Undertake facility maintenance duties and maintain a hygienic and safe work setting.
• Track the Order Progress: After placing the order, it is important to track the progress of the order. Regular communication with the supplier will help ensure timely delivery of the parts.
• Comply with all established safety protocols throughout the completion of work orders.
• Implement the substitution of tools and the organization of assembly processes.

Qualifications

• The minimum educational requirement for this job is a High School diploma or an equivalent degree.
• The top choice of credentials for this position is a certification in the Refrigeration/HVAC Trade or Vocational field.
• To be considered for this role, you must have at least 0‑5 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
• The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of mechanical and electrical experience.
• We are looking for someone with a proven track record in diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance.
• Experience in a high‑speed industrial atmosphere.
• Showed technical and mechanical expertise through consistent performance.
• Basic computer skills.
• The aptitude to assimilate the requirements and diagrams outlined by the manufacturer.
• It is advantageous to possess some understanding of Programmable Logic Control (PLC).
• Hand tools could be required to be supplied.
