As a Facilities Engineer focused on Building and Fire Safety, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of our infrastructure and the safety of our people. Working in a highly dynamic environment, you will bridge the gap between technical engineering and life-saving safety protocols.
Responsibilities
Facilities Engineer – Building Safety & Fire Safety roles and responsibilities You will support the planning, execution, and safe delivery of building and fire safety projects while acting as a subject matter expert across the site.
This will involve:
- Plan and execute building safety and fire safety projects (e.g. sprinkler upgrades, safety hardware upgrades)
- Project management
- Acts as one of our fire safety and building safety SMEs
- Support safety inspections, audits and interaction with authorities
- Maintain risk assessments, documentation and training materials
- Coordinate maintenance, inspections and repairs
- Collaborate in a matrix organization with EHS, Engineering and Operations
Qualifications
how to succeed You are a technically minded engineer with a passion for safety standards and the discipline to manage complex projects in a regulated environment.
You will also bring:
- Engineering degree or equivalent
- Qualified in Vorteil Ausbildung zur Brandschutzfachperson CFPA (Swissi)
- Experience with building or fire safety projects preferred
- Fluent German (main working language) and very good English skills
- Strong technical understanding and willingness to learn
- Experience in regulated manufacturing environments is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management skills
Benefits
This role offers a very competitive hourly rate. This contract will run for 12 months.
