We are seeking an experienced Facility Project Manager to oversee operations and maintenance for a large federal facilities environment in the Atlanta area. This leadership role will serve as the primary client point of contact and oversee facility operations, maintenance teams, subcontractors, compliance, budgeting, and capital improvement projects across complex government/commercial facilities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong facilities operations leader with experience supporting federal buildings, government contracts, or large-scale commercial facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise facility staff including HVAC, electrical, maintenance, and custodial teams
  • Serve as the primary client point of contact and oversee daily facility operations
  • Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs, repairs, energy management, and CMMS activities
  • Oversee subcontractors, service agreements, vendor performance, and competitive bidding processes
  • Administer budgets, purchase orders, invoicing, reporting, and operational performance metrics
  • Conduct inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are maintained
  • Manage facility projects, renovations, alterations, and capital improvement initiatives
  • Maintain facility documentation, operating procedures, drawings, and system records
  • Identify opportunities for energy savings, operational efficiencies, and maintenance improvements
  • Respond to after-hours emergencies and operational issues as needed

Qualifications

  • 5–10+ years of facility operations and maintenance experience
  • Experience managing large commercial, industrial, government, or federal facilities
  • Experience supporting government contracts or federal agencies strongly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, building controls, automation systems, and mechanical equipment including chillers
  • Experience with CMMS platforms, subcontractor management, budgeting, and project oversight
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to obtain federal security clearance
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus
