Fiber Project Manager

Description

• Own end-to-end fiber/coax construction projects from planning through activation
• Run project status meetings / standups, track milestones, and ensure timelines are met
• Partner with OSP Design, construction teams, vendors, and municipalities
• Monitor quality of OSP designs + field execution
• Manage project data, reporting, and stakeholder communication

Core Responsibilities

• Track project progress, milestones, and production metrics
• Drive projects to completion (timeline + budget ownership)
• Lead weekly cross-functional calls (fiber builds & activations)
• Maintain detailed project plans, action logs, and schedules
• Coordinate vendors + internal teams (design, survey, construction)
• Perform data analysis/reporting (Excel, VLOOKUP, data mining)
• Ensure data integrity across systems
• Conduct site walkouts with partners/municipalities

Must-Haves

• Fiber and/or Coax construction experience (OSP exposure)
• Project management – ability to drive projects to completion independently
• Strong Excel (VLOOKUP, reporting, tracking)
• Excellent communication (running meetings, stakeholder updates)
• Detail-oriented + highly organized

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with OSP design workflows
• Telecom tools (Blue Planet, Orion, P2, Sphere, etc.)
• Experience working with MSO environments
• Vendor coordination + municipality interaction
