Field Sales Engineer

Role Description

This is a contract hybrid role for a Field Sales Engineer, based in West Berlin, NJ, with flexibility for remote work. The role involves finding, contacting customers, developing customer portfolio, maintaining and building client relationships, understanding customer needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet technical and business objectives. The Field Sales Engineer will support the sales process by presenting technical aspects of products, conducting client visits, and collaborating with internal teams to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge in electronics, engineering, and familiarity with electronic components
• Sales expertise including relationship management, strategic planning, and client engagement
• Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally for business purposes
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, electronics, or a related technical field preferred
• Previous field sales or technical sales experience is a must.
• Understanding of market trends and customer needs in the electronics industry
