We are committed to operational excellence and are seeking a dynamic Field Service Engineer Manager to lead our field engineering operations and ensure efficient service delivery.

Job Summary The Field Service Engineer Manager (FSEM) will oversee field operations, manage engineering teams, and ensure the successful deployment, maintenance, and support of technical systems across project sites. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and operational coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise field engineers and technical teams across multiple project sites.

• Coordinate installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of telecom and remote monitoring systems.

• Ensure field operations comply with company standards, safety regulations, and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Plan and manage deployment schedules, field logistics, and resource allocation.

• Monitor project progress and provide technical support to field teams.

• Conduct site assessments and ensure proper system configuration and installation.

• Prepare operational and technical reports for management.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including NOC, logistics, and project management.

• Identify opportunities for operational improvement and efficiency in field operations.

• Train and mentor field engineers and technical personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 4 years’ experience in telecom field operations or engineering roles, with at least 2 years in a managerial position

• Experience managing field engineering teams.

• Strong understanding of telecom infrastructure, monitoring systems, and field deployments.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong leadership and team management abilities.

• Good communication and reporting skills.

• Willingness to travel to project sites when required.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience in remote monitoring systems or telecom infrastructure deployment.

• Knowledge of health and safety standards in field operations.

• Project coordination and operational planning skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦250,000.00 per month
