Job Description Summary

As a Field Service Engineer (m/f/d), you will be a consultant and problem solver for our customers on-site. You will be responsible for scheduled maintenance and repairs of technologically advanced medical devices in the MRI and Mammography fields. Furthermore, you will support sales in the continuous expansion of our customer base. You will impress not only with your technical expertise but also with your confident communication.

You will work independently in field service from your home office in the Bremen area for the service region of Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Hamburg, and Bremen.

Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer (f/m/d), you will work independently in field service from your home office in the Bremen area.

Your Tasks

• Scheduled maintenance and repair of medical devices in the MRI and Mammography fields according to technical documentation and/or modification instructions
• Independent diagnosis and resolution of technical problems at the customer site, as well as problem-solving via remote diagnosis as a Regional Online Engineer
• Independent installation and deinstallation of medical systems or optional modules in cooperation with project management
• Timely completion of all administrative tasks (especially daily service reports, weekly worksheets, maintenance protocols, and other required documents)
• Regular participation in training for technical innovations, including abroad
• Maintenance of tools/instruments and testing equipment and ensuring calibration

Qualifications:

• Completed vocational training in the field of electrical engineering, medical technology, mechatronics, and/or comparable training
• Several years of professional experience in electronics (qualified electrician) (ideally already in the repair, installation, and maintenance of medical systems)
• Technical/analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as commercial understanding
• Strong communication skills
• Willingness for regular travel and a valid driver's license
• Very good German and good English skills
• Good MS Office and PC skills
