Field Solutions Engineer - Public Sector

Experteer Overview In this role you will be a technology generalist working with large public sector customers, driving opportunities by building trusted relationships with sales teams. You will advise on data center, edge, cloud, security, collaboration and services, translating technology into business impact. The position is remote and California-based, supporting SHI's customer-centric approach. You will collaborate with account teams to design tailored infrastructure solutions and enable customers and sales teams with training and technical guidance. This is a chance to influence strategic technology decisions at scale within the SLED space.

Rémunérations / Avantages • Collaborate with account teams to evaluate customer data center environments and infrastructure technologies • Design and propose tailored infrastructure solutions aligned with customer objectives • Build and maintain technical relationships with OEMs and strategic partners; stay updated on product information • Provide product training and technical education to the sales team and customers • Act as a trusted IT advisor for customers; partner with Field Account Executives • Manage the solution practice pipeline by developing strategies for top prospects and acquiring new business • Identify and uncover opportunities within Data Center, Cloud, Network, Security, Collaboration, and Services • Develop solutions that fit customers' needs and budgets through strategic planning • Engage with CIOs, IT Directors, and CTOs for comprehensive account management • Educate and develop sales teams on technical selling, product training, services, and technology trends

Responsabilités • Data Center sales experience (intermediate) • Ability to design data center infrastructures: hybrid cloud, HCI, SDDC, IaaS, automation, containerization, DC Management Platforms (intermediate) • Strong knowledge of virtualization, hypervisors, SDDC, containerization, automation (intermediate) • Ability to sell complex technical products by understanding customer needs and articulating value (intermediate) • Expertise in Dell Technologies, NetApp, HPE, Cisco, Pure Storage, Azure, AWS, Veeam, Nutanix (intermediate) • Experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and High Availability (intermediate) • Completed Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience (required) • 3-5 years in a similar role • Ability to travel to SHI, Partner, and Customer Events • Advanced certifications in Dell Technologies, Cisco, VMware, NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, Azure, AWS, Commvault, Rubrik, Cohesity, Veeam, Nutanix preferred
