Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning and support of IT/telecommunication systems as well as associated applications.
• Analysis and remediation of system errors – both remotely and on‑site at the customer.
• Configuration, maintenance and data backup of the supported systems.
• Troubleshooting and configuration of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, WLAN infrastructure including access points).
• Fault resolution and support in data‑center environments.
• Ensuring and adhering to defined quality standards.
• Remote support of Field Support Engineers on Level 1 and Level 2.
• Creation of technical and commercial documentation of performed services.
• Participation in on‑call and standby duty schedules.
• Close cooperation with customers to clarify technical and administrative requirements.
• Assistance in categorising customer issues and forwarding them to sales, service or engineering teams as needed.

Requirements

• Successfully completed training as an IT specialist for system integration or comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in a similar position and solid knowledge of Alcatel‑Lucent Unified Communication & Collaboration.
• Manufacturer experience with Alcatel‑Lucent and preferably certifications such as ACFE or ACSE.
• Good knowledge in configuring network devices (routers, switches).
• Advantageous: certifications such as CCT/CCNA (Cisco) or comparable proofs from other manufacturers (e.g., Juniper, Fortinet, Checkpoint).
• Experience in building structured network cabling in office buildings and data centres.
• Strong analytical thinking and a structured, careful way of working.
• Willingness to undergo an extended security clearance (Ü2 according to SÜG).
• Very good German language skills and good English language skills.
• Driver’s licence class B required – company car with private use will be provided.
