Finance Lead / Junior Financial Manager

About the Role

This role will serve as the second-in-command to the Group Financial Manager, taking on a key leadership position within a dynamic finance team of approximately 15 professionals, including Accountants and Clerks.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and delivery of management accounts, providing meaningful financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

This is not a traditional technical accounting role; instead, the focus will be on driving efficiencies and enhancing the finance function through innovation.

A strong emphasis will be placed on leveraging technology, improving systems, implementing automation, and streamlining process flows.

The role is ideally suited to a forward-thinking finance professional who is passionate about modernising finance operations and enabling scalable growth within a fast-evolving business environment.

Skills & Experience

• CA(SA) or Eligible to register
• Retail industry experience, or audited retail clients during articles
• Advanced Excel
• Exposure to PowerBI. SQL and Python knowledge beneficial
