About the role
As a Financial Analyst at our company, your role will involve providing financial analysis, reporting, and business support to controllers and business heads. You will be responsible for tasks such as collecting, consolidating, reconciling, analyzing, and presenting accounting and financial information used by management for planning and control. Additionally, you will provide financial decision support and analysis, portfolio management, market model analysis, business planning, and financial reporting, planning, and analysis to the business management. It is essential to maintain compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Qualifications required for this position include a Bachelors or Masters Degree, or equivalent. Post-graduate, certification, and/or license may be required. Typically, at least 8+ years of relevant experience is necessary for entry to this level. Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint is a must. Functional knowledge of systems like SAP, Essbase, and HANA will be an added advantage. Strong interpersonal skills, including written, oral, and presentation abilities, are essential. You should have the ability to work and communicate effectively with Senior Management/Executives. Being a strong team player with analytical skills and the ability to work independently with business acumen is crucial. A strong customer-focus and results orientation are also important. Moreover, a deep understanding of accruals, reconciliation, and GL analysis is required.
