Finance Senior Associate - South Africa Nationally (Expression of Interest)

Role Summary

Takes ownership of defined areas of financial close, reporting, and analysis. Acts as a key point of contact for business units operating across US time zones and provides guidance to junior team members.

Location / Time zones: US-based, supporting East & West Coast business hours

Key Responsibilities

• Own specific components of month- and quarter-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare management reporting packs, including variance analysis and commentary for East and West Coast leaders.
• Build and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
• Partner with business units across time zones to understand financial performance drivers.
• Support audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
• Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and standardization across locations.
• Provide informal coaching and review work of Finance Associates.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline; CPA/CFA (completed or in progress) preferred.
• Typically 3–6 years of finance or accounting experience.
• Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
• Experience working with stakeholders in multiple US time zones.
• Proficient with ERP and reporting tools; advanced Excel skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Working hours:

This role supports a US‑based client and therefore requires working US hours.

The applicable shifts are:

• 15:00 – 23:00 (SAST)
• 18:00 – 02:00 (SAST)
