Finance Systems & Transformation Analyst (ERP Project Accountant)

About

• Full month-end close, including journals, reconciliations, and reporting
• Preparation and review of management accounts in line with IFRS
• Maintaining strong financial controls and ensuring data integrity
• Working closely with operational teams to understand business drivers
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Leveraging ERP systems and Excel to improve reporting and processes
• Assisting with audits and statutory compliance
• Taking ownership of finance processes as the role develops

Requirements

• Strong accounting fundamentals (month end, IFRS, reconciliations, controls)
• Clear systems aptitude - ERP exposure, strong Excel, comfortable working with data
• Curious, proactive, and willing to take responsibility early
• Ambitious and keen to grow into a broader finance role over time
• Stable track record, ideally having completed at least one full cycle in a role

Advantageous (not essential)

• Microsoft Business Central
• Manufacturing or costing exposure
• Maritime or engineering-linked industries
• Power BI or reporting tool exposure

Qualification

• Newly qualified CA(SA) or close equivalent (CIMA / SAIPA / BCom + articles)
