Financial Accountant

About

A technology solutions company providing services to businesses across various provinces in South Africa is seeking a Financial Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing payments and banking activities, supervising transactional processing, and overseeing the full accounting function. The ideal candidate should have at least a minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Financial information and data analysis
• Cashflow forecasting weekly
• Management reports
• VAT reconciliations
• Fixed Asset Register
• Manage GL entries
• Reconcile the cashbook
• Reconcile the Balance Sheet

Skills & Experience

• Pastel (Advantageous)
• BPO (Advantageous)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Excel – Advanced level

Qualification

• SAIPA/SAICA or Finance-related Degree

Package & Remuneration

• R 350 000 - R 430 000 - Annually
