Financial Analyst

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to join our team in France. The successful candidate will support financial planning, reporting, and strategic decision-making by providing accurate analysis and insights to improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Analyze revenue, costs, margins, and profitability trends
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
• Perform variance analysis (Actual vs Budget / Forecast)
• Build financial models and scenario analysis
• Monitor KPIs and provide recommendations to management
• Support cost control and efficiency improvement initiatives
• Assist with audits, compliance, and internal controls
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Sales, HR, Procurement)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 2–5 years of experience in finance, FP&A, audit, or analyst roles
• Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, formulas, financial modeling)
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
• Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, or SQL is a plus
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Fluent in English; French preferred or required depending on company

Nice to Have

• Experience in multinational companies or Big 4 firms
• Knowledge of IFRS / French GAAP
• Professional certifications (CFA, ACCA, CPA)
• Experience in budgeting and strategic planning
